John and Isaac loaded my 84 yr old mother’s belongings at her senior’s residence in Edmonton. Then they drove the belongings to Toronto, unloaded and helped to set up her furniture such as her bed in her new senior’s home. The guys were professional, courteous and respectful the entire time. The one trait which stood out the most was that they were respectful to both myself and my mother. They were patient with her and kind. The move was a difficult and emotional one for my mom because my father recently passed away. Having great service from a moving company made the experience a positive one and helped to ease the stress of such a huge and overwhelming task. I’d definitely recommend John and his team! I just had an heirloom dining table and chairs delivered to my daughter’s home in Kelowna, and couldn’t be happier with Great Canadian Van Lines. Wade, the driver, arrived right on time, disassembled the table, wrapped each piece individually, and then reassembled the table when he delivered. He was friendly, courteous, and professional in all aspects. I really enjoyed chatting with him as he packed things up. The table arrived in perfect condition in excellent time, and the communication from the company and Wade, was timely and professional. Yes they were more expensive than the cheap quotes online, but there were no extra fees, and with the price of gas going up nearly 30% after the quote was given, there was no fuel surcharge, or holding the table ransom for any extras. All in all I would highly recommend Great Canadian Van Lines, and especially Wade. Candace made the booking easy, and was willing to work with my schedule, to pick up the furniture.

Excellent experience moving from Ontario to BC. The dispatch team of Candace and Kyle were super responsive and friendly. We felt very fortunate to have Arsh as our driver. He and his crew were careful with the packing and un/loading, and Arsh was able to give us a heads up about arrival, which happened during the promised delivery window. The initial quote based on a video tour was very accurate, and the pricing was competitive, especially given that Great Canadian Van Lines was able to give a guaranteed delivery window. Mine was a very small load from the east coast to central Canada, inner city to inner city. An excellent experience all round with Great Canadian Van Lines. The communication was professional, friendly and transparent and inspired confidence that all would go well. The drivers and handlers at both ends handled my possessions with courtesy and care, and the price was very fair. (I had been considering using a pod, but I soon realized the unwieldiness of a pod given my inner city locations at both ends. The loading and unloading work would have been all mine to do, and the price of a pod was also substantially higher.) I hadn’t anticipated at the outset how good my choice would be to go with Great Canadian Van Lines instead. Very satisfied!

I was apprehensive to find a mover for a very very short notice. I needed to move to Surrey from Edmonton the following day. It was Monday night March 23, I emailed Great Canadian Van Lines Ltd,

My whole moving experience with GCVL was very positive. I used them to move my parents from BC to Alberta. They accommodated my special needs to ensure that my parents were able to arrive in their new home with all of their belongings already there. Communication was excellent and their pricing very good. The driver was in direct communication with me so that I knew exactly when he was arriving. I would definitely use them again.

We very highly recommend Balraj and Sahil. They helped us to move our elderly mother from BC to Alberta which included stops in two cities. They took the utmost care with all the furniture and belongings; taking time to well wrap and tape items, protected flooring in the houses and ensured all items reached the correct location. They went over and above to carefully transport my delicate garden birds with long pointed beaks, a heavy cement giraffe and a very heavy crated antique cabinet with delicate rounded glass.

There were no damages to anything and the only disappointment I have is that the pull handle from a desk drawer was missing. The Great Canadian Van lines team was exceptional. They came to our apartment on the Burlington Lakeshore and made quick, neat, professional work when emptying our apartment. Eddie and his courteous team did an excellent and efficient job getting my move loaded in the lower mainland of BC. They carefully wrapped all my furniture and handled the boxes noting those that were marked as fragile.
When they arrived Eddie and his London crew were just as friendly and efficient in bringing my goods into my new residence. They placed all of my furniture and belongings in the rooms as marked, assembled the furniture that was taken apart for the trip and left clearing up and materials that were needed for the move. I am very happy with the job they did. I found no damages to my goods that were handled in my move. I recommend Great Canadian Van Lines.

Arsh and his partner moved my belongings quickly and were careful to avoid breakage. They put the frame of my bed together as well as the mattresses. And they set up my TV too! They were polite and sweet. If you are moving these gents can make the move a no stress event.

Great experience!!! Went from Quebec City to Victoria, BC and after learning that there are only 6 accredited moving companies in all of Canada it was an easy choice picking Great Canadian Van lines especially after reading the reviews about the competitor (with almost the same name, don’t be fooled). Yes i paid a little bit more to go to Great Canadian but if you read between the lines, and compare the estimates you will realize the competitors do not offer actual insurance that will cover damage ( check the reviews of the competitors and the nightmares) …. YES everything arrived on time, nothing missing, professional pickup, professional drop-off. The Driver/Chief Amar is a Gem!! Great guy, super professional, funny, and totally responsive to any questions or concerns you have. I absolutely recommend this company, and make a request for Amar if you can.
